White Noise was formed in 1993. Chris Carroll, lead guitarist, and Dave Yount, lead vocalist were in a band together. They felt an immediate musical chemistry, however they felt the band they were in was holding them back. They decided to break out and form a new band, but finding compitent musicians that could be tolerated for more than 5 minutes at a time they felt would be challenging at best. Luck was on their side! The first member added was bassist Chris Weaver. An old friend of Dave's shows up out of nowhere. He fit perfectly. Maybe finding a drummer would be just as easy... |

No chance. After many weeks of painful, and sometimes comical auditions, a friend of a friend knew somebody who thought they knew of a guy who plays drums and was leaving his current band in search of something new. Sounds promising. If this thing was meant to be, this would be the guy. After all those wasted auditions it was hard to get excited about anything. Ron Sherwood showed up at the audition and and we haven't looked back since. After that day we knew we had something great and White Noise was born. |
